Guides come in all shapes and sizes
I’m often asked about Guides. Why do we have so many and why do the same ones sometimes look different from person to person? I mean how they present themselves.
Before I go on, I would like to point out that a recent survey showed that over 2 in 10 Americans believe in Angels while 1 in 4 don’t believe in God. That is definitely a skewed result. It would seem from this survey that some people don’t believe in God but they do believe in Angels.
But if so many believe in Angels why not Guides? I don’t think guides really care if you call on them thinking they are angels. Spirit is all working together.
Spiritualism, New Age, Druidry and other groups teach that Spirit is working in our favor, given a face and even a personality. Larger dogmatic religions confer at least one deity, angel or ascended one can call on throughout his/her life, in addition to God of course.
It is my experience with Spirit that we each have a band of Guides, a God squad or working committee – a team working together for our benefit. The band can change in general composition over our lifetimes, but the main characters are always the same.
It is very common, to have one or two guides that work in the foreground for a period of time and then another guide or Master or Angel will become more prominent in our thoughts and guidance at another time. I have understood this from the portrait work I have done and in my personal lives.
Our band is lead by a master teacher. This can be an Ascended Master or Archangel. The master teacher is like the band manager of your band, the CEO of your working committee.
This master teacher and all of your guides are with you throughout time. They are all attached to you and are absolutely committed to the evolution of your soul.
The object in each incarnation is to explode all karma and get to dharma and the team is dedicated to helping each of us get there. I’ve noticed in my work that guides can change their presentation depending on the message they need to convey.
The most prominent feature I have noticed in my work is the tendency to androgyny. This state is our culmination in Spirit. But if the sitter needs to focus on a feminine or masculine aspect then Spirit presents that unabashedly.
Keeping in mind that guides and Masters have different aspects, (which I talk about in this post) how a guide appears is a message in and of itself.
The ‘look’ of a guide can depend on the age of the sitter too. When doing images for young sitters usually very young guides or fairies and genies are presented. Not that fairies wouldn’t show up for an adult sitter, but youngsters will relate more to a genie or space being than to a wrinkled serious-countenanced Native American guide or a formal-looking scientist.
Spirit knows what it’s doing. Your band knows more about you than you can remember from past lives and what you are not aware is written in Akasha. Perhaps that is why what comes through in image may seem puzzling.
But Spirit does know how to present your message and what you will understand (even if you don’t understand it right away). Sometimes the guide looks like you! I have to think this is so one can relate to the guide more.
Your band can consist of a doctor guide, one that helps you with health and healing. There is a nurse guide, one that helps you when you are tired and perhaps feeling deflated – nursing you through the lows.
There is a financial guide (thank you!) that can be called upon to help you with all things financial, business and personal. We each have a child guide (at least one, usually more) that is always ready to play, let go and just remind you how to be as a child. Child guides can be Masters in disguise teaching an important lesson. Plus they can be extremely mischievous!
Truly I say to you, unless you will be converted and become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” Jesus
The most powerful guides to my experience are our Native American guides (relative to where you live, we all have native guides, you will naturally know what yours are). These guides connect us to Mother Earth – Terra or Gaia.
Native American guides may be called upon to help with anything physical, anything connected to nature and most especially for protection. I absolutely love the energy of my Native American guides!
The list of guides goes on, including: psychic development, healing, ceremony, student/teaching, artistic, organizational, cooking, sport, travel…anything you do or think of has a possibility of guidance by a particular spirit.
Guides can be ‘people’ both famous or not, or animals, fairies, leprechauns, elves, gnomes, centaurs and other polymorphs, beings from our Galactic family, even animals from other planets and angels just to name a few. How fortunate we are to have so much guidance available to us.
Of course we need to be open to that guidance for it to do any good. An image of your guide definitely helps with the connection, but you can focus on their energy alone and get guidance. Meditation helps.
Why do we have so many? I don’t know, but I’m grateful for it. Just as it takes a village in this dimension to raise children, it may take a village to usher a soul into the Great Void. Embrace the Mystery.
